Toonsical is another production that I was involved. The idea of the show was to bring your favorite Cartoon songs to life. And this show celebrated my come back to Los Angeles.
I got to perform with a great person and sharing the stage with her was always a blast. But one thing that I started to understand better is skill level and the importance of an audition. We had a very diverse cast and different skill levels. I did not comprehend at first how that happened because we had very drastic differences in our cast. So I started to think about the audition process. We actually sang one song and that was it. First rehearsal, they make us dance. 90% of our cast doesn't know how to dance and one day before the show we were still changing the choreography to make it easier. That, unfortunately, was really stressful and mind-blowing to me. The show was definitely an eye-opening experience and I loved working with our Cartoon girls. (By the way, the one in the picture with the red shirt, WATCH OUT!! She is FIERCE)
